The majority of people I know or have had the privilege to meet throughout my life have one thing in common; they want to fit in, they act in ways that will allow them to be respected and accepted by their friends and colleagues. This is the norm in our society and if you don’t follow this pattern? You will stand out, oh and yes you will be the center of every conversation in the community of gossips.
Is this right? Should people have to hide their true personalities out of fear of rejection or should they decide to follow Dr Seuss’s ideology “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”
It is my belief that once you follow the laws of the land in which you reside, everything else you do is entirely up to your own discretion…
